Projects
The Bakery: 2017 to present
The Bakery is a collective of creative thinkers aligned around social justice principles, environmental concerns, and the belief that art is pivotal to existence. We utilize and critique technology as it changes the human landscape. Our previous space was unified around a DIY ethos which we carry with us into an uncertain future. Even without a physical space, we keep community building at the core of what we do.
eyedrum: 2016 to present
Our mission is to support local and international artists as they advance the boundaries of art through explorations of contemporary art and new media.
Culture Labs: 2019 to present
Culture Labs exists to create meaningful experiences that deepen the connections amongst people, culture, and the places they inhabit. Places and brands communicate things to people. The experience they offer is what people connect with or are turned off by most, so it is critical to be thoughtful about how people interact with your assets. Culture Labs specializes in creating positive experiences, ranging from short-term brand activations to long-term placemaking initiatives.
DIY Atlanta Art + Culture: 2016 to present
The DIY Atlanta Art + Culture Project is essentially data collection and compilation of this city’s alternative and underground history.
A Movement Not A Moment: 2020 to present
A work in progress: A Movement Not A Moment is a compilation of art, memes, articles, images, press headlines, and more that distill the energy of the summer of 2020.
New Square: 2019-2020
New Square was a temporary pop-up at Underground Atlanta. Unfortunately, it was never able to reach it’s potential due to COVID-19.
Chit Chat Club: 2019 to hiatus
Chit Chat Club is a monthly event series of why innovative thinking matters brought to you by Chatty Picnic, The Bakery, and Culture Labs. Each event will include featured speakers that will talk about something unusual that they are unnecessarily passionate about, like bird-watching. We know this sounds ridiculous but that’s the point: to network and build professional skills, like public speaking, in a playful environment over a cold drink while exploring new locations around Atlanta!
Arts in Bushwick: 2013 to 2015
